With an open-air catwalk along Jermyn Street. St James Open Air Catwalk Show showing the finest fashion from the area this summer, we proudly attended the launched of Jermyn Street St James’s first LCM event open to the public. With his pick of Jermyn Street St James’s menswear brands, stylist Darren Kennedy pulled contemporary pieces from over thirty local brands to make a show of complete looks, all of which are available in the shops this summer. The event is part of the official London Collections Men schedule in collaboration with the media partner The Evening Standard. This was the first show we attend kicking off LCM. It was outside as stated but only very few were able to get a seat. The rest viewed by standing room only. We sat close to the runway where we could see the models as they entered the catwalk, which was great because we had a close look at all the outfits. This collection was so well put together. Each outfit had great prints, style, and accessorized according. We love how some of the outfits were so simple and clean but the textures and pops of color would easily make any man stand out. They gave you an array of casual to more sophisticated complex looks. It didn’t matter what was your style you could easily slip into one of those outfits and feel like you had a personal stylist. Great collection! The show started on time and delivered every bit of edge it could muster. We can’t wait for the next show.
