London Collections Men’s Fashion Week SS/16 day 2 was a great way to kick off our European tour. This was my first time attending, so I didn’t know what to expect. I’ve seen pictures but I didn’t know what to wear and what to wear for the different shows. I learned that Londons’ Fashion Week was more street style and not really about suits. Suits was all I brought so I had to go with it. This first day since I mentioned I had never done LCM fashion week. I wanted to standout so I went with a bold color such as cobalt blue. I knew not too many people would have this color and I was right. I wore A Cobalt blue and black checkered blazer with cobalt blue dress slacks. This was not a suit but two separates that happen to match perfectly. I wore a white collard shirt underneath instead of black because I didn’t want to be too matchy matchy if that’s a word. This is what I want you to know. There’s nothing wrong with separating a suit. Many people think because it’s a suit you always have to wear that blazer and pants together. No if you find a printed blazer that matches, switch it up. Stay away from being boring and don’t be afraid to mix and match. I was very happy with the love I received from the photographers and other bloggers I met. Finally had a chance to meet Tony Tran instagram name @Fashitect and Harry instagram name @infashionity who are not only great bloggers but great friends. As I sat down with them and my fiance Raquel Celeste we laughed joked and traded techniques on shooting, personal style, how we acquire clothing and how we blog. For sure great times meeting everyone even the people who support my style and I will definitely be back.
