Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Dr. the home of the rich and famous. There’s no better way to be inspired by street style than to be in the middle of all the most fashionable brands. The store fronts attract so many tourist from all over the world every year. It really is nice to call LA my home. I haven’t been down there in awhile and wanted to take advantage of shooting there on this beautiful day. So here’s my spin on how to wear a suit, but make it look a little more casual. I wore a sky blue suit with a white button up shirt, but to dress it down a little I threw on a striped light weight hoodie under the blazer. The white sneakers and pocket square also gives it [...]
Focus on Style because this is your unofficial interview. I know we all do this. We meet someone and we automatically judge them on their appearance, style, and attention to detail. Whether we mean to or not. This is the first step we take to see how we feel about a person. So I’m particularly picky when it comes to my outfits. Even if I’m just going to the supermarket. I say if it has a good fit, has a nice design, and the color works go for it. One thing that irritates me is telling me what I can or cannot wear. I don’t believe in dressing for the season either. If I want to wear a three piece suit in 80 degree weather then that’s what I’ll do. Nothing else matters if I’m feeling dapper. This suit was light weight and comfortable. Heather Grey tweed tie to offset my all white. Beautiful day to [...]
Raquel takes a flight over to the Eiffel Tower For The Weekend. Since I was in Europe visiting family in London it was only right I hop over to Paris! This was the sweetest treat next to all the pastries I ate over the weekend. From croissants to pizza’s decorated with salmon and poached eggs, Paris delivered high on my food chart. The Eiffel Tower is a place I’ve wanted to visit since I was 14 years old and I finally did it. I cried so many tears of joy! Next time I do Paris it won’t be for the weekend, but for now this was everything I dreamed it would be. I wore this colorful flowered wide pant leg jumper to add color to this cloudy rainy day.
