Venice (otherwise known as Venezia) is a city in northeastern Italy sited on a group of 117 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges. It is located in the marshy Venetian Lagoon which stretches along the shoreline, between the mouths of the Po and the Piave Rivers. Venice is renowned for the beauty of its setting, its architecture, and its artworks. I wanted to give a little knowledge of Venice according to Wikipedia. Taking the train from Milan to Venice we weren’t sure if it was going to be worth spending the extra days and time, because Venice wasn’t apart of our original plans. We had so much more to do and see, but everyone said Venice is a must. We’re so glad we listened because this was by far the best sight to be seen. The train ride itself was a lot of open land like if you were driving through the south as far as scenery. As we were approaching Venice and saw how beautiful it was, the excitement was definitely there. We could barely wait to get off the train. We took a water boat to our hotel which was amazing. We will have to talk about the hotel in another post so I can go into details. The water boat is their form of transportation from the trainstation, restaurants, hotel to hotel, and sightseeing. Venice looks like one big circular island with a body of water in middle and all the buildings surrounding. I want to tell you about Venice but why when I can show you through pictures. Please Enjoy our site we put hard work into making sure the pictures and writings are just for your pleasure.
